大手町駅から直結した皇居寄りの商業ビルの上層部にあるアスコットホテルのメインダイニングになっているシンガポール料理店。
たまたま近くに居てランチの場所を探していたら美味しそうだったので行ってみました。
２２Fに上がると大手町のビルの上とは思えない開放感のあるお店で、高い天井、緑あふれるテラス席、巨大なマーライオンが目に入ります。
お昼の開店直後から、予約しているお客さんがどんどん入って行ってすぐ満席近くになりましが、どうにか予約無しでも滑りこめました。
平日ランチはアラカルトやセットメニューが頼めるようで
【シンガポールチキンライスセット（ハーフ＆ハーフ）】２２００円
を頼んで、５分程でサラダ等順番に出てきました。
一般的なシンガポールチキンライスは、蒸し鶏が乗っていますが、こちらは揚げ鶏も付いてきます。
これらをジンジャーソース、チリソース、ダークソースに浸けて頂きます。
蒸し鶏は赤身を感じる、柔らかさよりも旨味を感じさせる仕上げで、美味しかったです。
揚げ鶏は、外はガリガリに揚がった衣と中のジューシーな鶏の食感の変化が楽しく味わえました。
こちらのチリソースはトマトのような旨味と酸味を感じ他のシンガポール料理店とは違う味付けで美味しかったです。
そして、これらがチキンスープで炊いたジャスミンライスと良く合いました。
総じて、気づける人そ気づく、知る人ぞ知るお店の価値を再確認しました。
また夜や休日でもゆっくりとした時間を過ごすためにお邪魔したいです。
