以前銀座三越にあったDavid Myers Cafeのハンバーガーがちょっと期待外れだったので
こちらはどうなのかな？と、ずっと気になっていましたがやっと訪問できました。
予約が取れないことが重なり再び期待値が上がってしまったのですが、残念ながら今回も期待外れ。
タパス盛り合わせの雑な盛り付けで最初からテンション下がったし
楽しみにしていたメインのパエリアは見た目がよいだけ。お米は柔らか過ぎだし、魚介の出汁のうま味も感じなくて、パエリアのおいしさのひとつであるお焦げが皆無。トッピングされていたアイオリソースもオーセンティックなものとは程遠かった。サフランの香りもしなかったのでこの黄色は何の色なのだろう？とも思ってしまいました。一緒だった友達も味についてノーコメントだったので、きっと私と同じ感想を抱いていたと思います。（お店のチョイスと予約を私がしたのでネガティブなことを言わなかったのだと思う）
接客についても、まだパエリア半分くらい残っているのに、'デザートもうすぐ出まーす！'といきなり言われたのも意味不明でモヤモヤしました。ほぼ同時に着席したお隣のテーブルの子たちもまだメインを食べていて、私たちがとりわけノロノロ食べていたわけでもないのに。
ランチ時間だからなのか盛り付けも味も全体的に何もかもが雑な印象でかなり残念でした。ミシュランのスターシェフというふれこみのDavid Myersさんがこのお料理のクオリティを知ったらどう思うのかな？期待していた分、がっかり度が大きかったです。
酷評してしまいましたが、店内の雰囲気だけは素敵です。
