夜ごはん
■コース¥17,000（おそらく）
皇居を臨む大手町の『パレスホテル東京』にあるフレンチレストラン『エステール』。リブランディングして一年で、先日発表されたミシュランガイド東京2021の一つ星に選出。
今回、Go Toトラベルを利用して、パレスホテル東京に宿泊。いわゆるステイケーションてやつ。予約した際に、エステールの食事付きプランがあり、それを予約。そもそもパレスホテルの宿泊目的は、エステールであり、これはなんともありがたいプラン。Go Toトラベルというのもあり、めちゃくちゃリーズナブルに利用することができた。コース内容は、おそらくいちばんスタンダードな¥17,000のコース。お店は、ジャケット着用マストなのでお忘れなく。
入り口から期待をもたせるストロークの長さ。箱自体はさほど広くなく、センスのいい椅子に、清潔感のある白いテーブルクロスの敷かれたテーブルがいくつか。お店の窓からは、目の前に皇居を、東京の夜景を臨むことができる。客層もいいですね〜うさんくさい港区な雰囲気は皆無です笑。
さっそくプランに付いているシャンパンで乾杯。銘柄は、「モエシャンドン マグナム」。そして、下記のお料理がスタート。

りんご、酒粕、生姜、カルダモンなどをミックスした一杯。

日本のテロワールを活かした、とあるようにどの料理も和のエッセンスを感じさせながらも、押し付けがましくなく、センスがいい。メインのホタテと牛肉の流れが印象的で美味しかった。そして、なんといってもデザート。ソルベに続いての、アラン・デュカスといえばの「チョコレートケーキ」。このカカオが濃厚で濃厚で。。。やはり素晴らしかった。お茶菓子のお米を入れたチョコレートも、「小枝」の最上級って感じで美味しい笑。
一流のホテルレストランだけあって、サービスも極上。品よく控えめに、かつ抜け目のないサービス。せっかくなら、やはりパレスホテルに泊まって利用しましょう。
