Today's lunch was a visit to "Unagihashimoto". This is a long-established store founded in 1947. This was my first visit since moving from the back alley. Today's eel is from Soyo in Kagoshima Prefecture, so I ordered the eel with ``ro'' and ``liver soup.'' After a while, the eel was served, and the eel was plump, tender, and grilled with a nice aroma. I can't get enough of the exquisite grilling that leaves this fluffy feeling, and I can't help but be grateful. The meat is thick and fatty, and it feels like it melts in your mouth. The sauce is slightly sweet and sharp, and is a secret sauce that does not interfere with the eel itself. While the sauce itself has a very good impression, it was added a little less so as not to be fooled by the sauce (you can add more with the sauce on the table). The rice was a little hard with grains standing up, which went well with the eel. In the second half, I was sprinkled with Japanese pepper on the table, and the aroma of this Japanese pepper was so good that it made my mouth feel even better. The liver soup and the accompaniment of pickled vegetables are well-balanced and taste good. Since I ate it at the counter, I was able to watch the owner grilling the eel right in front of me. I was very impressed by how honestly and seriously he faced the eel. Hashimoto is the only delicious eel restaurant in Yaesu. I'm looking forward to visiting again. Today's order: Unaju (ro) 4,950 yen, liver soup 275 yen
