象印製炊飯器の炎舞炊きご飯を目玉にしているレストラン。
ご飯は確かにおいしいです。
日によってお米のブランドや炊き加減が違うらしく、この日は普通の炊き加減、柔らかめと、雑穀米。
初めは3種が供され、そのあとはお代わり自由。
ご飯、間違いなくおいしいのですが、普段から鍋でご飯を炊いている私は、「こんなにおいしいなら炊飯器買おう！」ってなるほどでもないなと思いました。
とはいえ、ご飯だけ味わうことも全然アリなほどには美味です。
しかしながら、定食のおかずがたいへんご飯によく合って、おかず単体でもおいしいけれど、ご飯と合わせてさらにおいしい、と隙のない構えでした。
おかずがある限り、いくらでもご飯がいけると思います。
ご飯のおいしさの売りって、ことこういう定食ものについては、おかずとの相乗効果をどこまで上げられるかなのかも。
と、おかずとの合わせ技の見事さで、さすがご飯にこだわったお店だな、と感心しました。
デザートはお米のアイス。
ベースはあっさりめのミルクアイスと思います。
そこにほんのり甘いお米がちょっとこりっとした食感とともに混ざっていて、こちらも好きでした。
ちなみに、煎茶と玄米茶とほうじ茶はセルフでお代わり自由で、定食とともにまったりするのによかったです。
