shabu shabu restaurant is located in the basement of the Yaesu Steel Building (Lawson is the landmark), just as you exit Tokyo Station's Yaesu Exit and turn left. shabu shabu at this restaurant is served in one pot per person even if there are multiple people, so you can eat at your own pace. The course I received this time was the 8,800 yen "Sakura" course. It was cold that day, so it soaked into my body even more. The six appetizers were Kuroge Wagyu beef Sushi, Japanese yam pickled in perilla leaves, Matsusaka pork with rich sesame dressing, plum bonito, cucumber and whitebait, Matsusaka bok kakuni, and Matsusaka beef simmered egg rolled in dashi soup. The Matsusaka pork braised pork was melty and delicious.The 3-piece classic set included tuna, yellowtail, and salmon! There's no doubt about it. The batter of the prime cutlet was crispy and the meat was soft. The main dish, shabu shabu, is all tender and delicious. There are 3 types of sauce: sesame sauce, grated maple sauce, and lemon sauce, and toppings include gochujang and yuzu pepper. The lemon sauce was unusual and had a very refreshing taste. For the final noodles, the staff recommended that I add gochujang to the sesame sauce to make it dandan-style, and it was delicious! The store clerk was also a funny person and gave me a few gags!
