日本橋駅9番出口から徒歩1分の紅花別館に会社の同僚と11:30に訪れました。少し早いランチでしたが2階席の約7割のテーブルが埋まっていました。
我々は4名掛けのテーブルに通して頂きました。夜は鉄板焼き料理を提供しているだけあって、カレーを食する場所にしてはダイニングルームは高級感があり終始リラックスできました。
私がオーダーしたのは、
「霧島ポークの角煮ココットカレー@2,000円」。
注文してすぐにサラダが、そして約5分後にライスと、ポットに入ったカレーが出てきました。
ポットの中を覗いてみると、豚の角煮が３つも入っていました。
カレーをライスにかけて食べてみました。
スパイシーだけど旨みもばっちり出ていて、「まろやかスパイシー」と言った感じでした。鹿児島・霧島の黒ブタの脂も旨みに貢献しているのかもしれません。
またうずら卵を食べると、スパイシーなカレーに少しだけ甘味を加えてくれると同時に、弾力のある心地良い食感を与えてくれました。
ライスはおかわり自由で、私も一度おかわりしました。
とにかく美味しいカレーでした。
