会社の同僚と2人で平日10:50にお店に伺いました。11時開店のお店はまだオープンしていませんでしたが待ち人は9名いました。
待ち中に玄関前にあるメニューを見た所、
「限定10食 蒲焼が3枚乗ったお得な鰻重
肝吸い付き@3,850円(税サ込)」
の看板を発見しました。
他の鰻重と比較して本当にお得だったので、このメニューに即決しました。
暫くすると並んでいる列に店員さんがやって来て、メニューを聞かれました。限定10食のお得な鰻重を２つオーダーした所、何と我々の前に並んでいるお客さん全員がこれをオーダーしたようで、僕たち2人の内、1人だけしかお得な鰻重をオーダーできないと言われました。
同僚は後輩だったので、速攻この権利を私に譲ってくれました。
「ありがとう、鰻を少し分けてあげるからね。。」
入店し、席について10分ほどで2人のうな重が運ばれて来ました。
私のお得なうな重と300円ほどしか変わらない「うな重(竹)」と比べると、大きさに明らかな差がありました。
店員さん曰く、お得うな重は鰻1.5匹分で、うな重(竹)は0.75匹分とのこと。なんと300円の差で倍半分も違うじゃありませんか！
これを聞いて私は、自分のお得うな重の2割ほどを後輩君にお裾分けしました。
さて、サイズの話ばかりしてしまいましたが、お味の方も素晴らしかったです。ふっくらしていて、鰻のタレも美味しかったです。タレは所々お重の底まで届くようにしっかりかけて頂きました。
許されるならば、10:30過ぎに並んで確実にお得な鰻重ランチを注文することを強くお勧めします。
