An old-fashioned, safe and relaxing shop.
On a Monday at the end of October, I made a reservation in advance and visited with four friends for the first time. Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that makes you feel at ease from the moment you enter the entrance. There are seats on the first floor and basement, the basement has 4 seats for 4 people, and the first floor has 3 seats for 4 people and a counter with 2 or 3 seats. I sat in a four seater near the entrance. For alcohol, I had a medium mug of draft beer, followed by a bottle of Akagirishima. After the appetizer, we ordered 10 snacks, and the first item was the overnight-dried squid. This is a masterpiece that is packed with the flavor of squid and goes well with alcohol. The jaco and green onion with ponzu sauce that was recommended by the store clerk was also full of Kujo green onions. We Other had fried chicken, dashimaki egg, potato salad, Kyoto fried chicken, whale bacon, scallop sashimi, and shrimp with mayonnaise. Nothing goes wrong! It was delicious! To finish off the meal, we ordered two meat fox Curry Udon and shared them among four people. It was very delicious, but I was also very drunk, so I'll come back for Curry Udon at lunchtime. The store clerk's older brother took care of me from beginning to end, and even though it was my first time at the store, I felt at ease in a good way. thank you very much. We look forward to working with you again.

Choboya carefully selects ingredients and seasonings that Kyoto people love, and only uses ingredients that we can recommend with confidence, saying, ``This is the only one available at this restaurant!'' |
My colleague and I visited Curry Udon at 11:45 on a slightly hot weekday in early November. The other day, I came here because I really wanted to try Curry Udon I had for lunch. Luckily, there was an empty four-seater seat right in front of the entrance, and I was let in there. The store was almost full. I ordered the sauce cutlet bowl set, and my colleague ordered the beef rice set, and the two of us ordered Curry Udon instead. I also asked for a paper apron because the risks are high. The food arrives in about 5 minutes. In addition to Curry Udon and sauce cutlet bowl, it comes with Small dish and pickled vegetables. Curry Udon is piping hot. The soft noodles are topped with more onions than the photo on the menu. It also contains sweetly boiled fried tofu and battered onions. The soup stock is mild and delicious due to the strong dashi stock. The loin cutlet is fried crispy and goes well with the slightly hard rice. With this taste and volume, 1100 yen is a good deal. Beef rice set is 1000 yen! By the time I finished eating, I was sweaty and full. Thank you for the meal. I'll come back later.
