今回のお食事は、新富町にあるこじんまりとした隠れ家イタリアン「ＮＯＤＯ ＲＯＳＳＯ」
新富町か。
久しぶりにいくなぁ。
銀座のお隣なのだが、商業用店舗と住宅が増え始める境目のような場所で、中央区区役所からもほど近いような感じとマップには表示された。
18時から予約していたので、17時50分頃にお店前らしき場所についたのだが、どこにあるのかがまったくわからず、付近の路地をぐるぐると探してしまった。
すると薄暗い中、看板に「ＮＯＤＯ」の文字が見えたので、ここか・・・と。
そう、18時オープンまでファサードの電気は付いていないから、何度も前を通り過ぎていた、、、だけだった。
とにかく今日は寒い。
裏にローソンがあったので、それまでそこで缶コーヒーを買って待ち、18時に再びお店に向かった。
平日だったので、当然ながら一番客。
お店はカウンターが数席と奥にテーブルが２つあるこじんまりタイプ。
これにはちゃんとした意味があり、店主が全てのお客様としっかり向き合いたいという想いからのものらしい。
ドリンクメニューを見たのだが驚いた。
ワインが驚くほどリーズナブルなのだ。
まぁもちろん隠しメニューみたいなものもあるのだろうが、ほとんどが4000円～12000円くらい。
おそらく厳選し料理に合うものばかりだろうし、そのワインの風味や特徴が店主の言葉で補足してあるのはとてもありがたい。
ポーションは全体的に少な目、だがその一皿一皿にかける細やかな技術というか、情熱というか、卓越したものと自信を感じた。
ワインとの相性も抜群で、ほとんど飲まない自分だがボトル1本をほぼ飲み終えてしまうほどだった。
アラカルトで色々試してみたかったが、今回訪問したのが12月24日ということもあり、コースのみの受付。
他の方の写真を見ると、どれもこれも美味しそうで、この隠れ家的な場所と雰囲気は自分だけの特別なお店にしたいと思ってしまう。
静かにお酒とお料理を、気軽に頂く。
色々食べ歩いた方にこそ試してほしいお店だなと感じた。
イタリア語で調べたら、赤い結び目という意味で、運命の赤い糸？そんな絆をお客様と築いていきたいという店主の想いなのだろうか。
