明治屋のレストランで、明治屋の地下から京橋エドグランに移転。
大正４年、文明開化の時代いち早く洋食を修行し、宮内庁御用達も勤めた渡辺鎌吉氏が経営する「中央亭」が経営的に苦境に陥った際、、支援の手を差し伸べたのが明治屋だったという背景だそう。
店の雰囲気はちょっとガランとしています。
レイアウトもっと工夫すれば良いのに。
オムライス 1,200円（税込）を頂きました。
えーーー、全然美味しくない・・・。
前菜として頼んだコーンクリームスープ 480円（税込）
こちらも普通。
客層は、年齢層高めで、常連さん多しという感じ。
