銀座線京橋駅の改札を出てすぐの京橋エドグラン地下１階にある、昭和初期より京橋で愛される老舗洋食レストラン。
明治屋直営のレストランで、昼は洋食屋、夜はビアホール。
東京駅のすぐ近くにあるとは思えないほど、天井は高く、店内も広々としてて居心地がいい。
店内の装飾は昭和レトロ風です。
さすが老舗なだけあって、近隣で働く方だけでなく年配の方もら多く利用されており年齢層の幅も広そうです。
こちらのお店はハンバーグが有名なので、今日は『ハンバーグステーキ シュバール風』をチョイス。
粗挽きの肉々しいハンバーグで、濃厚なデミグラスソースは少し酸味のあるタイプで美味しかったです。
真ん中のくぼみに乗っている半熟の目玉焼きの黄身が、デミグラスソースと混ざり合うと、ソースがほんのり甘くなるので味変に！
こちら、主菜とライスやパンは別々に注文するスタイルで、昭和の洋食屋さんぽいです。
スタッフの皆さん、ニコニコして楽しいそうに働いていたのも印象的です。
