②海外のストリートカフェのようなおしゃれな雰囲気
【1枚目】
「明太クリームソースオムライス(1,430円)」
※サラダ・スープ付
ぽってりとしたオムレツが乗っかったなんとも可愛い見た目のオムライス。
オムレツはやや半熟で、かなり分厚め。
バターの香りがしっかりとするのが印象的。
厚みがありパッカン系のオムライスなのだが、少し火が通りすぎている感じもしたので、もう少し火が甘めなら開きやすいと感じた。
そしてライスは固め、水分少なめな仕上がりのケチャップライスで、具材は挽肉のみ。
挽肉の旨味をたっぷりと感じられるのは良いが、具材の種類が少なかったため、少し寂しい感じもした。
そしてソースの明太クリームは明太子感はかなり弱めで、クリーム感の強いまろやかなタイプ。
明太子好きには少し物足りないと感じるかもしれないが、クリームソースとしてはとても上質で、ケチャップライスとも相性がいい。
明太子とケチャップライスは基本的にあまり合わないが、このソースなら組み合わせても美味しいと感じる。

「ケチャップオムライス(1,430円)」

こちらは定番のケチャップ。
オムライス自体は明太クリームと同様で、他の種類のオムライスも上のソースだけが違う様子。
オムレツ自体がかなりクリーミーな印象なので、ケチャップの酸味が合うと感じた。
個人的にはこちらの方が全体としてまとまった味わいの印象があり好みだった。
【まとめ】
日本橋高島屋の新館7階のレストランフロアにあるカフェの「ピコティ・ピコタ」さん。
オムライスとガレットがメインのカフェで、外観が非常にオシャレで、まるでフランスのストリートカフェのような雰囲気。
内観もテーブル席のみならず、室内ではあるがテラス席のような開放的なテーブルも用意されており、どの季節でも利用しやすい。
この日は休日の12:00に訪問。
店内はほぼ満席で、入店後も3〜4組の行列が常にできており、休日は特に混み合う様子。
確実に訪問したい際は予約が無難かもしれない。
こちらのレストランフロアは基本的に少し価格帯が高めの設定のお店が多いため、こちらのようなフランクに利用できるお店は特に若い層からは重宝されるように感じた。
