江戸の昔の金融の中心は金座と銀座。
銀座は繁華街になってしまったが、金座の跡は日銀本店となって今でも金融の中心のままです。
その日銀と道路を挟んで対峙する三井二号館にKINZAという和風ダイニングレストランがいつのまにか出来ていました。
広いフロアの中心にカウンターに囲まれたオープンキッチンがあり、そのカウンターの上に江戸時代のこの辺りの賑わいを描いた電子絵巻が流れている。
店の入口には巨大な冷蔵ケースに日本酒がずらりと並んでいて圧巻です。
コースを予約しておいたので、すぐに前菜5点盛りが運ばれてきました。
乾杯はクラフトビールでスタート。
お造り盛り合わせから日本酒にスイッチして、七田、赤武、醸し人九平次、勝駒と飲み比べてみました。
料理はどれも「普通に美味しい」レベルでしたけど、品数が多くて一口づつでも色々食べられるので、酒の肴としては十分でしたね
場所柄、本来なら海外からのビジネスマンが多く訪れて日本文化に触れるのに最適なお店だと思いますが、この日も空席が目立って外国人も少なかった。
早く自由に行き来できるようになって、本領発揮できると良いのにと思いました。
