1839年の創業から180余年
家畜商に始まり、今では近江牛の生産から卸、小売りなども手掛け、飲食店も高級店からステーキ店、ハンバーグ店、焼肉店などと滋賀県内に7店舗を手掛ける岡喜グループが満を持して県外初出店となるお店を日本橋にオープンさせたと聞き、早速お邪魔させていただくことにいたします
お店があるのはCOREDO日本橋の4F
永い間、白い壁で覆われていた『The Meat Locker Cellar＆Grill』の撤退案件への出店でありまして、かつてのお店と同様に通路を挟む形で左右に分かれています
その左手の入り口を入ったところに置かれる冷蔵ショーケースには大きなお肉の塊がいくつもあって、お肉がおいしいお店であることがアピールされていますね
夜はステーキを中心としたメニューとなっているようですが、お昼のメインとなるのは「近江牛肉鉄火重」であるようでして…
他にも魅力的な商品が並んではいましたが、生肉をお重でいただけるお店なんてそうそうないとそれをいただくことにいたします
差額を支払うことで変更することができるローストビーフサラダには美しい色目のローストビーフが4枚も載せられていまして、その柔らかさを堪能いたします
そして鉄火重
自社牧場で飼育されたという近江牛の生肉がお重にきれいに並べられているのですが、そのビジュアルは垂涎ものであります
内ももが使われているのでありましょう
とろけるように柔らかい食感にわさびの香り、そしてタレとご飯の相性も良く…
添えられたとろろ芋と合わせることで一層おいしくいただくことができる逸品でありました
