京橋のインド料理店「ボンベイ・シジラーズ」で、ランチを食べてきました。
英語表記が「Bombay Sizzlers」なので「シズラーズ」かと思いますが、何故かこういう店名になっています。
「東京スクエアガーデン」の一階で、通りに面していますので分かりやすく、自分もお店の前は何度か通っていました。
外観も中も、奇麗でお洒落な雰囲気を感じます。
平日12時のランチ時でしたがほぼ満席で、外国人が多いと感じました。
ランチメニューは、サラダ，お替り自由のナン，ライスが付いて単品 \1,000、二品 \1,200、三品 \1,300で、ドリンク別料金 \400の分、高く感じます。
二品を、ラムと日替わりのチキン＆ナスで注文しましたが、辛さ指定は有りませんでした。
全て一緒に到着しましたが、ビジネス街のお店らしく早かったです。
マトンはトマトベースで、スパイスが感じられましたが、一番強く感じたのはパクチーでした。
悪くはないのですが、少し違和感も覚えました。
刺激は控え目で、辛さ指定出来ないなら、テーブルに辛さを調整出来るチリパウダー等が欲しいです。
具材はラムですので、マトンに比べると柔らかく、癖も無く食べやすいのですが、物足りなさも感じました。
チキン＆ナスはナッツベースで、こちらもパクチーが強く感じられ、刺激は控え目でした。
パクチーは慣れますが、刺激は加えたかったです。
具材は、チキン，ナス共にきちんと入っており、好印象です。
ナンはサックリ感も有り、美味しかったです。
ライスは、日本米のホワイトライスで、固さは適度でした。
お替りにハーフナンを頼みましたが、フルサイズをカットした物で、カレーの量とバランスしました。
味は合格点と言って良く、接客やお店の雰囲気も良かったのですが、価格を考えるとプラスとは行かず標準点です。
