用事があって日本橋まで行ったのですが、
その用事が終わったらランチです。
まだちょっと時間があったので、少しぶらぶらしてからお店に向かいました。
「日本橋 タイ料理」で検索して見つけた「チャオチェンマイ」。
ランチは1200円でビュッフェを実施中。
11時の開店と同時だったので一番乗り。
前会計でQRコード決済も使えます。
ランチビュッフェは曜日替わりメニューになっているので
お目当ての料理がある曜日に行くのもいいですね～
ちなみにですが、11時の開店時にはまだ料理が揃っていなくて、
11時半くらいにようやく全て出そろったという感じです。
なので、少しずつ料理を取っていきました。
1回目はまだ料理が半分くらいしか用意されていなかったので、
ヤムウンセン、ヤムママー、豆腐のガパオ炒めなどをチョイス。
カオソーイも用意されていたので早速器に盛り付けました。
ただ、ヤムウンセンにしてもヤムママーにしてもカオソーイにしても
麺系のものはくっついてしまっているので、
「一口分だけ取りたい」と思っても、それがなかなか難しい。(笑)
タイ風おでんは八角の香りがしっかりしていました。
豆腐のガパオ炒めは厚揚げが使われていて、
これはなかなか面白かったです。
ヤムママーは思ったよりしっかり辛みがあって美味しくいただきました。
カオソーイのスープはわりとサラッとした感じでしたが、
鶏肉がたっぷり入っていて贅沢でしたよ。
2回目はパッポンカレーとマッサマンカレーができあがったので、
それをメインに取ってきました。
マッサマンにはジャガイモと鶏肉がゴロゴロ。
甘口のカレーなので食べやすいですよね。
パッポンカレーはメニュー表には「タレーパッポンカレー」とあったものの、
シーフードは入っていないようでした。
今まで食べた中では初めての半熟玉子炒めというテイストで
茶碗蒸しのような優しい感じがしました。
そしてパッタイはセンミーを使ってあって、
いわゆる通常のパッタイとは趣が違いました。
ようやくキャベツとカシューナッツのソムタムや
トムヤム炒飯ができあがったので、取ってきました。
キャベツでソムタムって珍しいけど、
これなら自分でも簡単に作れるので
家でもちょっと真似してみようと思います。
最後にデザート。
今日はマンゴープリンでした。
2つ取ってきたのですが、美味しかったので、
最後にもう1つ追加で取ってきました。
全盛期に比べれば随分食べる量も減りましたが、
それでもしっかりお腹いっぱいになりました。
1200円でいろいろ食べられるのはうれしいですね。
