Today we are having a course meal at the famous long-established eel restaurant "Unagi Kiyokawa." The building is reminiscent of the Edo period. The literary greats Junichiro Tanizaki and Junichi Watanabe were regulars at this restaurant, and it even features in the novel "Incarnation." The eel is steamed slowly and grilled over binchotan charcoal until plump. The course menu includes appetizer, simmered dish, Simmered dish (grilled eel on rice), unaju (grilled eel on rice), liver soup, pickles, and dessert. It is very tasteful.
