お昼ごはん
■広島産牡蠣フライ定食 4個 ¥1,500（税込）
カキフライの季節ということで、向かったのは最近マイレビュアーさんの投稿で知った『八丁堀 朋』。宝町駅や八丁堀駅を最寄りとする、日本酒の品揃えが自慢の居酒屋だ。
平日の12:30頃に到着すると、地下にあるお店へと続く階段に行列ができており、はっきりとは確認できていないが、おそらく10人ちょっとは並んでいただろうか。
だいたい20分ちょっとで入店。牡蠣フライは、3個・4個・5個から選べられ、それぞれ¥1400・¥1500・¥1600と価格が上がっていく。
17〜18分ほどで到着。こちらの牡蠣フライは、広島県産のものを使用し、1個の中に複数の牡蠣を使用した、人形町『三友』に代表される、いわゆる“バクダン牡蠣フライ”。カラッ薄めの衣にたっぷりの牡蠣で、非常に食べごたえのある一品。自家製のタルタルソースとも相性◎。あまりの食べ応えに、3個でも十分だった。
定食には、ひじきの煮物や冷奴、ひと口デザートなんかも付き、ごはんや味噌汁もおかわり自由で、定食としての充実度も高い。ひっきりなしに周辺のビジネスマンたちが訪れるのも納得だ。
ただ、忙しさのあまり、スタッフが常にバタバタしており、小走りで横を通るなど、忙しない感がすごい笑。もう少しオペレーションが整うと、ありがたいところ。
