八丁堀三丁目のランチ。鈴らん通りに面している立ち食い寿司屋――と思ったら、ちゃんと椅子があった。テーブル席も1卓だけある。
11時40分くらいに入って、カウンター席に着く。ランチは丼ものだけみたいで、ガラス戸に貼り出されていたメニューの中から、北海丼（850円）を注文した。先客の男性3人と、あとから弁当を買いに来た女性3人の注文と被ってしまって、出てくるのに少し時間が掛かった。
