茅場町にある茅場町更科。
お蕎麦と懐石料理をいただけるお店です。
三大そばブランドの「更科」系。
昭和43年創業「更科丸屋」として営業してきたようですが、この地域に親類や支店を含め同じ店名が多かったため店舗を移転し「蕎麦懐石茅場町更科」にしたようです。
川沿いなので、窓際は開放感があります。
この日はランチでお伺いしました。
そして、日替わりランチ1,400円で、月曜は「海老天丼セット」です。
セット内容は、ぶっかけそば（もしくはかけそば）と海老天丼、お新香になります。
海老天はかなり大きく食べごたえもあって、衣はサクッと海老はぷりっとしてます。
タレも程よい甘みと旨味でバランスがよくこのタレだけでも美味しくご飯をいただけます。
更科らしい白く細い蕎麦で、コシも程よく喉越しもいいですね。
量は少なめですがとても質の良いランチをいただきました。
夜も期待できそうな感じですので、また利用させていただきたいと思います。
