Drinks with friends at a Kyushu cuisine restaurant in Kayabacho! I'm looking forward to Kyushu because there are so many different kinds of delicious cuisine in Kyushu. We were seated at a table where we could see the Nihonbashi Water Gate of the Kamejima River below us. It's nice to dine while looking at the powerful water gate. The restaurant was the type where you read the QR code at each table and order with your smart phone. But happily, this restaurant also has paper menus. When ordering from a smartphone, the person holding the smartphone can order while looking at the screen, but the people around him or her don't know what kind of menu is available. That said, the size of the screen that can be displayed is limited, so the person in charge of ordering with the phone also cannot get a bird's eye view of the food. I always thought this was inconvenient. That's why paper menus are so useful. d(^_^o) Before I go any further, this restaurant is a super hole-in-the-wall on Saturdays and Sundays. Since it is located in Kayabacho, an office district, reservations on weekdays are difficult to make during the year-end and New Year holidays, but on Saturdays and Sundays, it seems there are a few openings. Moreover, the all-you-can-drink special on Saturdays and holidays is 1,000 yen for 2 hours! A great deal! I want to drink plenty of alcohol. This is perfect for those who want to drink plenty of alcohol, but also want to order what they like to eat. The menu is also great with highballs, cocktails, fruit wine, shochu, sake, and more. What should we eat? Since it is almost the cold season, we decided on hot pot as the main menu! There are two types of nabe menus. shabu shabu Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) We had a hard time deciding which one to choose, and decided on today's choice, "Negi-Pork shabu shabu" which is Kurobuta pork! The appetizer is Namul (bean sprouts). The bean sprouts are crunchy and seasoned just right. The bean sprouts are crunchy and well-seasoned. The Hakata Kawa Skewers, a specialty of Fukuoka, are crispy and juicy on the outside, and although the set comes with five skewers, they disappeared into our mouths in no time, even for two people. Cream cheese marinated in miso The miso paste on the top of the skewers is a must-try. The creamy cheese flavor is doubled by the miso. It is so delicious that it is a shame to eat it in one bite. Assorted three kinds of horse sashimi. It is very tasty with no smell and good elasticity. The unique firm and chewy texture of the horse meat is irresistible. The red meat is so tender that it almost melts in your mouth. I think I have never had such tender red meat. Green onion pork shabu shabu This one is set up early with a gas range and a pot of soup. The minimum order is for two people. The plate is filled with a heaping pile of scallions and sliced Kurobuta pork. When the soup comes to a boil, add just the right amount of scallions and enough Kurobuta pork to make a bite shabu shabu. Take the broth on a small plate and add the shabu shabu sliced meat to it. The yuzu aroma is strong and the fat in the meat is perfect. It is not at all cloying, but the sweetness of the fat can be felt. The green onions are also crispy and delicious! The final dish is zosui (rice porridge). It is a special soup with the flavor of Kurobuta pork added to the dashi broth. It's extremely tasty! The access from the station is also excellent. It took me less than a minute to get out of the subway. And the restaurant is beautiful! It is full of cleanliness. The waitresses are very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant can be used for various occasions. All the dishes were delicious and very satisfying. Thank you very much.
