ランチに利用しました。注文したのは、極上親子丼。+100円でライス大盛に。それに加えて、ランチメニューの下の方に書かれている 特製お新香 の中から しそと胡瓜のたまり漬 を。
５分ほどして、先ずは お新香 の登場。ランチと共に１人で食べるには量が多く、一目見てちょっとたじろぎました。まぁ冷静に考えれば、300円分の お新香 ですから、それなりの量がなければ怒りますよね。でも、ランチメニューに、いかにも一人前のように載せるのはどうなのかなぁ？と感じてしまいました。２～３人でシェアしてちょうどいいくらいの量です。
そんなことを考えているうちに 極上親子丼 の登場。出汁に染まった生っぽい半熟の玉子が美味しそうです。
早速いただきます。鶏肉は炭火で炙ってあるので香ばしいし、噛み応えもあって旨味もしっかりと感じられます。ただ、小さく切られているので、鶏肉を食べた感はあまりありません。こういうのが上品な親子丼なのかもしれませんが、、、
若干つゆだくで、ご飯全体に汁が染み渡っていて、美味しいには美味しいのですが、これで1,400円(ご飯並盛の場合)はちょっと高いかなぁというのが正直な感想。まぁ、ここは神田じゃないですし、私が不勉強で上等な親子丼がどういうものかを知らないだけなのかもしれません。
添えられている お吸物 というか、鶏スープ は、いい出汁が出ていて美味しかったです。
オプションの お新香 を頼んだからでしょう。定食の お新香 が サラダ に変えてあったのは嬉しい心遣いでした。
