Visited on a Sunday afternoon. It was a little over half full, but it quickly filled up and people were lining up. A popular shop for roasted green tea. The first floor sells roasted green tea and other items, and takeaway roasted green tea and other items that can be drunk on benches outside the store, while the second floor is Kanmi-Dokoro (cafe featuring Japanese-style sweets) shop. If you have to line up, go to the second floor for now. It is close to the station. [Atmosphere and service] There are multiple table seats. Most of the seats are for four people, so it fills up quickly, but the turnover seems to be not that bad for Kanmi-Dokoro (cafe featuring Japanese-style sweets). There are two staff members in the shop. When it was busy, the tableware was quickly removed, but I think it would be better to have a time system in the first place. [Order and cost performance] I ordered Hojicha Anmitsu for 1,300 yen and the finest Hojicha for 300 yen. When I ordered it as a set with food, the drink was 100 yen off the above. It arrived shortly after. I think the price is reasonable. [Thoughts] The Hojicha Anmitsu is more voluminous than it looks. There was plenty of agar on the bottom, and it felt like it was about twice as filling as a regular Anmitsu. On top was Hojicha ice cream and red bean paste. This was also a little big. The Hojicha ice cream had a refined flavor. But it was not thin at all, with just the right amount of sweetness and the flavor and aroma of Hojicha. The red bean paste was also not too sweet and delicious. It was a light type. At first, I thought it was quite a lot, but it was good to eat it little by little with the plenty of agar underneath. Are the shiratama and brown sugar syrup also flavored with Hojicha? The brown sugar syrup was quite elegant and light, and the sweetness was quite modest, which was good. I didn't feel any discomfort when I poured it all on. I ordered the premium roasted green tea cold, but it still had a nice aroma and was of high quality. The sweetness was just right and it gave me a nice break.
