本日のランチは人形町にある「東嶋屋(とうしまや)」さんを初訪問。明治20年(1887年)浅草で創業、昭和10年(1935年)に人形町にて開店した老舗の蕎麦屋。注文は「天南せいろ」、そして「いそべ巻き」にする。
暫くして先ずはいそべ焼きが配膳される。パリッとした香り高い海苔に挟まれたお餅。お餅が焼かれた香ばしさと醤油、これは美味しい。小腹が減った時のオヤツにもなるが、蕎麦前の良いスターターとなる。
続いて天南せいろ。蕎麦は細めで、キチッと冷水でしめられた水切りの良い二八蕎麦。それを千住ねぎに海老の天ぷらが入った温かいつけ汁で頂く。千手ねぎの良い食感と蕎麦が口の中に幸せを運んでくれる。
こちらのお店は外観も素敵な佇まいだし、お店の中は老舗だがとても綺麗。メニューも豊富だし、お気に入りの蕎麦屋さんが増えて嬉しい。次回の訪問がまた楽しみである。
