何度となく通っているお店なんですが、何故か記事にアップする事の少ない店がいくつかあるんですが、南インド料理の名店“ダクシン”もその内の一つ。
今回はランチタイムの訪問だったのですが、休日だった為グランドメニューからのチョイスです。
外は夏の陽気だったので、まずは冷たく冷やされたスプマンテで乾杯о(ж＞▽＜)ｙ ☆
シャルドネやリースリングが使われたスッキリとしたテイストで、食前酒としては勿論、スパイスとも合わせやすいスプマンテです。
料理はグランドメニューからなので単品注文も考えたのですが、結局、色々と摘める“南インド野菜料理プレート”いわゆるミールスをチョイス。
セットでお願いしたので、まずは“トマトスープ”からスタートです。
ポタージュとまでは行きませんが、トマトの酸味の利いたクリーミーなスープです。
洋食屋さんでは味わえない、エスニック独特のスープは存在感抜群です。
スープを飲み終えて、ワインも赤ワイン（写真なし）にチェンジ！
少し軽めで飲みやすい、インドワイン“シャンティリ・シラーズ”をいただきました。
それに合わせるかのようにミールスの本膳が運ばれてきます。
何がビックリって、バスマティライスのボリューム！！
食事に集中したとしても完食は難しいくらいの大盛り加減です(;^_^A
ライス以外の内容も盛り沢山！！
ミールス定番の“ラッサム”と“サンバル”は流石の逸品です。
スパイス控えめの“ラッサム”は食中には欠かせないスープですね(°∀°)b
“サンバル”は、やや酸味が有りますが、美味しくいただけます。
惣菜には、豆カレーと野菜カレーの２種類のカレーに、ポリヤル（インド風野菜炒め）がタップリ。
デザート、ダヒ、レモンのアチャールまで付いた正にフルセットです。
バスマティライスにそれぞれの惣菜を混ぜ混ぜして、いざ実食！！
豆カレーの濃厚さと、野菜カレーのクリーミー感、そしてアッサリとした仕上がりのポリヤルは三位一体と言っても良いくらいのバランスの良さです。
野菜のみの上、全体的に味付けが淡白なので、物足りなさを覚える方も居るかも知れませんが、私としては丁度良く美味しくいただけました。
意外とレモンのアチャールが良いアクセントになっていましたね。
本膳をいただいている途中で、“プーリー”と“ワダ”が登場。
実は“プーリー”は私の大好物о(ж＞▽＜)ｙ ☆
簡単に言えば、ナンを揚げただけなのにどうしてこんなに美味しいのでしょう！？
カレーや惣菜類と一緒にいただけば、瞬く間にパラダイスです。
“ワダ”は豆で作ったドーナツ的なの揚げ物なんですが、南インドでは、この“ワダ”と“サンバル”を合わせるのが一般的なんです。
ちょっと揚げ過ぎな感は有りましたが、サンバルと一緒に美味しくいただけましたよ。
セットでプレートに組み込まれているデザートが、ちょっと変わっていて印象的でした。
セモリナ粉とスパイスを組み合わせたパウンドケーキで、しっとりとしていて甘さ控えめ。
そしてスパイスの香りも有り、ワインのお供にもなるデザートでした。
最初から最後まで満足感のあるセットでしたが、残念な事に大盛りのライスは完食出来ずでした｡ﾟ(T^T)ﾟ｡
休日の昼間にワインを飲みながら南インドを満喫…
