ひたすら肉欲にまみれた休日が終わり、週が明ければ、身体は魚を欲しているけれど、相変わらずそういう行先が思い浮かばないゆえ、こういう時にはまたパスタかなと人形町に向かったお昼時
ところが、お目当てのお店にやってきてみれば、聞いてないよの月曜定休なのか、お店は無情にもシャッターで閉ざされています
あらら、参ったね
ただでさえぼーっとなりがちな週明けのことゆえ、まさかのためのプランBの用意などしていませんから、しばらくは茫然と彷徨いましたが、なんとか辿り着いたのが「NOVO」という古民家バル
こちらでもパスタがいただけるようだけれど、別にそこまでパスタにこだわっているわけではないし、こちらのランチメニューで前から気になっていたのは「厚切りポークジンジャー」です
週明け早々から肉をいただく気分ではないけれど、不測の事態で順番が変わっただけと割り切って、この際それをいただいてみるとしますか
入ってみれば、階段があるから上の階にも席がある様子だけれど、案内されたのは１階のカウンター席
席に着くなりこれと決めていた「厚切りポークジンジャー(1,000円)」をオーダーしました
すかさず配されたのは葉物のサラダ
ツナらしきが乗っているのはいいけれど、ドレッシングはかなり酸っぱいな
で、ややあってやってきた「厚切りポークジンジャー」は、いかにもカフェやバルのランチらしいワンプレートスタイル
文字通りの厚切り肉でそれなりに美味しくいただけるけれど、こういう上品な見た目だと、私のようなセンベロ上等のへべれけオヤジとしてはちょっと調子が狂うよね
私としては、生姜焼きならバラ肉を炒めたタイプの方が好みだし、厚切り肉なら、ガッツリとニンニクが効いたトンテキが好物だけれど、こういうお店ではどちらも似合わないよな
実際、気が付けば、先客も後続客も女性ばかり
まあ、たしかに、いかにも女性が好みそうなお店だからなぁ…
