在宅勤務の昼に利用。
週末、胃腸を酷使した影響で、ちょっと可愛らしいもので労わろう、なんて殊勝なことを考えてみる。
だいぶ前から存在そのものは認知していたのだが、何となく気が向かなくて見送ってきたお店。蕎麦欲を簡単に満たしてくれる〈文殊〉の存在は大きいのだ……。
開店直後の11:30過ぎに入る。先に注文。「そば（せいろ）＋鶏天丼」のセットで蕎麦大盛り800円。蕎麦は田舎、更科、韃靼から選べる。この時は座れたのだが、徐々に後から人が入って満席に。
見ていると、イマイチ店員の捌きがよくないし、鶏天を一つ一つ揚げているせいか、サービスまでもちょっと時間がかかり気味だ。
10分少々待って出された蕎麦。見た目は悪くないのだが、蕎麦がやたら長かったり、ちと食べにくい。つゆは薄口気味。鶏天丼も揚げ具合は悪くないのだが、全体的に平坦な味。悪くはないけれど、取り立ててよくもない。
800円という値段でいただけるということを有難く思わなければという気持ちはあるが、サービスの若者の捌きがイマイチゆるくて、声が小さかったり指示が曖昧だったりして、お客さん側の交通整理がイマイチビシッと仕切られないので、何となく見ていて居心地がよくない。
何と言うか、特に理由はなかったのだけど、何となく見送ってきたこれまでの判断が、私にとっては正しかったという感じかなぁ。
