この日の平日ランチは日本橋大伝馬町にある渋い居酒屋さんにて。屋号の“おっかさん”は明治36年以降に「おかあさん」というワードが普及する前、江戸・東京で広く使われていた言葉。何とも温かみを感じる響きですわね。
間口が狭く店内が見えづらいので、ちょっと入りにくい雰囲気もありましたが、入ってみると至って普通の居酒屋さん。後から常連客と思われる方々も次々と入ってきました。
ランチは前金制なので先にレジでお会計を済ませます。お魚を目当てに入りましたが、この日のお魚は一択。「サバの一夜干し定食（\870）」をオーダー。引き換えに黄色い札を受け取ります。
5分ほどでおやっさんがお盆を持ってきてくれました。サバは開き状態になっていて丸ごと１匹。見た目以上にボリュームがありそうです。付け合わせは、目玉焼きに鶏の竜田揚げ。この類でお新香が付いていないのは珍しいな。
サバはよ～く干されていて、いい案配に乾いていますね。身はふっくらとしておりボリュームたっぷり。隅の隅まで身が凝縮されており、時間を掛けて綺麗に箸でそぎ落としていきます。
目玉焼きや鶏肉はまあ普通かな( ＾ω＾ )。お味噌汁はお野菜の甘味が良く出ていて大変美味、ご飯の器も底が深く、かなりの量がありました。
店内は昭和の居酒屋らしく壁には手書きメニューの貼り紙でいっぱい。でも、テーブルや椅子は今風のスタイリッシュなデザインになっており、ギャップが面白い。コロナ対策のアクリルボードもバッチリ整っておりました。
