ここ数年、唐揚げ定食を敬遠している。何かのTV番組で肥満体質に良くないメニューに唐揚げ定食があげられたからだ。だが唐揚げとキャベ千を食い、飯と一緒にかっこむ、この魅力は忘れることができない。
それでこの日、人形町の交差点近くでランチのメニューを目撃した。エレベータで地下に降り、入店。席についてメニュを眺める。唐揚げ定食やキラーコンテンツのチキン南蛮が500円と安い。その魅力に抗うことができず、唐揚げとチキン南蛮のあい盛り(580円)をオーダー。ご飯と味噌汁はお代わりができるという。
ほどなくしてやってきた。唐揚げ２個、タルタルのかかった唐揚げ２個。レタス少々。
いただく。肝心の唐揚げが揚げ置きで生暖かい。これにタルタルがかかっているのだが、このタルタルのテイストが、思っているものと違い、生暖かい唐揚げと一緒に食うと、脂感が増す。レタスは申し訳程度の量。我々唐揚げ食いはソースを所望するが、鳥専門店のランチでソースを備えている店は少なく、醤油のみ。酢とかあれば良いのだが。
結果的に、ご飯をお代わりすることなく、半分残して店を出た。
