台風に刺激された秋雨前線の影響とのことで、昨日に続き、週末の本日も朝から雨模様
突然坐骨神経痛らしき症状に見舞われたこともあって、今週は長く感じたなと思いつつ、午前中の外回りを終えて人形町まで戻り、事務所への帰りがけにお昼をいただいていこうと立ち寄ったのは「とりいちず」というお店です
ビルの地下にあって、素人目にも集客に苦労をしそうなロケーションにあるこちら「とりいちず」
入ってみれば、当地日本橋・人形町界隈には似合わない感じの、いかにも安っぽい内装の店内です
空いている席に着き、ランチメニューを手に取ってみれば、これまた当地には似合わない低価格なラインアップですが、本日は週末金曜日の“カレーの日”ゆえ、私は端から「鶏出汁チキンカレー(500円)」がお目当てでこちらにやってきています
もっとも、値段が値段だけに、カレーだけではしょぼいことになりそうなので、「でか唐揚げ(100円)」を2個添えてもらいましょう
まあ、“でか”と豪語しているけれど、これまた値段が値段だから、1枚、2枚と数える「串エ門」の“本物の”でか唐揚げ

とは違って、どうせ1個のサイズはたいしたことがないに決まっていますからね(笑)
で、ややあってやってきた「鶏出汁チキンカレー」は、なぜかラーメン丼に盛られたぞんざいにして奇怪な姿
うーん
見かけからして、いきなりちょっと萎えます
相棒に選んだ「でか唐揚げ」の方も、案の定、“でか”とはとんだお笑い草の標準サイズだから、これは2個にしておいて正解でした
唐揚げとしば漬けを全乗せしていただいてみれば、シャバシャバとしたカレーソースは、業務用っぽいどこかよそよそしい味で、鶏出汁はどこ？という味わい
手作りを装うように、明らかにレトルトではない鶏肉が具として3切れ乗っていますが、あまり味が染みていないから、これは後乗せしたものなんだろうな
一方、トッピングの「でか唐揚げ」の方は、まずまずの出来ではあるけれど、鶏に一途なはずの専門店で出すものと考えるといかにも力不足だな
総じて、この場所柄・土地柄にあって低価格路線で健闘しているのはわかるけれど、多少値段が上がっても、もう少し質を上げてほしいところですね、私としては
いずれにしても、今週の“カレーの日”は不発
これは口直しが必要だな
