[1 minute walk from Kodenmacho Station] A Western-Western Cuisine cafe where you can spend a relaxing time in a calm atmosphere.
Just a 3-minute walk from Kodenmacho! At lunchtime, you can enjoy a hearty lunch with our recommended keema curry, beef tataki rice bowl, or our in-house prepared katsu curry. In the evening, you can |
I visited this place on the first weekend of the new year for my usual "night cafe" experience. It was the weekend, but I finished work relatively early, so I wanted to have a quiet meal, and chose this area. I'm not good with busy areas on weekends. The restaurant is in the basement of a building, but unlike what I had imagined, it had a snack-like atmosphere, and there were groups of people there, so it was a little lively...or so the staff told me. I was looking for keema curry here, but I heard they had a happy hour set until 9 p.m., so I ordered an appetizer and beer. In addition to roast beef and duck, there was an assortment of potato salad, fish nanbanzuke, and smoked cheese. The appetizers were well-balanced and looked quite good, and I also had beer sausages topped with cheese. The appetizers were all carefully seasoned and very satisfying. It was my partner's dinner, and I was looking forward to the keema curry. It was almost not spicy. The curry topped with an egg has a mild flavor. We added some red wine halfway through. The interior of the restaurant has a snack bar-like atmosphere, but there are guitars on display and we're not sure if they hold live music or if it's just the owner's hobby, but it doesn't feel out of place. The service is also very polite. What I feel most about dining in this area is that it's very relaxing and you can have a few drinks. Everyone is very well-mannered, even when they come in a group. I'm a big drinker, but I don't like drunk people. The lack of noisy drunks makes this an area where you can relax and enjoy a drink. It was crowded, but it was a restaurant where you could relax. Thank you for the meal.
