水天宮前駅から箱崎方面に進み、水天宮が終わって次の信号を右折して、しばらく行くと右手にあります。フランス国旗でわかるかと思います。茅場町駅からの方がやや遠い印象です。休日にクリスマスランチを予約して伺いました。
アミューズは聖護院かぶとそれを使ったムースで、素材の味が活きていて美味しかったです。
前菜はカリフラワーとオマール海老に、カリフラワーのソースやキャビアが添えられたもの。
メインは平目とタラバガニの白菜包み。カニの存在感が強くて平目の味わいはちょっとわかりにくかったような。
デザートは、ピスタチオのアイスとイチゴを、クレープのような生地を焼いて包んでありました。苺を切って生クリームを挟み、サンタさんを模した品は可愛かったです。
この日はクリスマスシーズンで忙しくて余裕が無かったのか、愛想が無いような印象でした。常にニコニコする必要も無い訳ですが。こちらに限らず、繁忙期の訪店はなかなか難しい点もあると再認識しました。
