人形町の小さな路地裏にこじんまりとあるとんかつ屋「かつ好」。
古民家を改装したという店内は古い木材が使われレトロな落ち着く空間。酒樽を活かして作られたというカウンター、とても趣があります。
シンプルにとんかつ、ご飯、味噌汁、香の物を注文。
カウンター席だったので、店主が塊肉を丁寧に切り、削ぎ落とし、叩いて、切れ目を入れ、粉、卵液に浸し、ふかふかのパン粉にまぶして、という一連の流れが目の前で繰り広げられるのを見ることができ、職人技に感動✨
低温と高温の油を使い揚げているのだそうで、大きな銅鍋が２つ並びます。サクッとした軽い衣がやみつきに。
オリジナルソース、梅塩、わさび醤油、和カラシ、とどれを選んでも美味しい。大きな浅利入り味噌汁も出汁がきいていて身体が温まります。
スッポンカレーという気になるメニューもあったので、次回はそちらも試してみたいところ。
ミシュランのビブグルマンにも掲載されているそうで海外からのお客様も来られていました。
