今週は豪勢に月曜日ランチから牛タン屋さんへGo！人形町今半のすぐ近くにある牛タン屋さんを訪問しました。
こちらの「けやき」さん、メインは居酒屋形態となる夜営業のようですが、お昼は牛タンや三元豚などの定食を提供しています。今日はひたすら牛タンが食べたかったので、『牛たん増し〔1.5人前〕(¥2,000)』をオーダー致しました。
店内はオール・テーブル席で、焼き肉屋さんらしからぬ和風の落ち着いた造り。全席に換気ダクトが設けられており、テーブルとテーブルの間は仕切られているので、この御時世には正にぴったりな環境です。
10分程で登場した炭火焼き風の牛タンは非常に厚みがあり、かつ柔らか。少々焦げ付くまで焼いているのて、香ばしさ満点。よく焼き系は好みが別れるところですが、個人的にはアリだと感じました。塩加減はあまり強くないので、七味をかけてアクセントをつけながら頂きました。
汁物はテールスープではなくお豆腐のお味噌汁。牛タンを謳うお店でテールスープが出ないって珍しいですよね。正直、がっかりしていたのですが、なんとまあこのお味噌汁がすこぶる旨い！お味噌の香りといい、出汁の風味といい、これぞ一級品の味わい。出来ることなら、お代わり自由のご飯よりもお味噌汁をお代わりしたいくらいでした。
小鉢は日によって中身が違うようですが、この日はコンビーフのような牛タンを和えたペースト。これがまた旨味が凝縮されていてウマウマ。ちょびっとずつ箸につけて少しずつ味わいながら頂きました。
牛タンランチは小鉢も含めて一つ一つのグレードが高く、もちろん牛タンの炭火焼きそのものも満足のいく出来映え。レギュラーサイズなら¥1,500で頂けますので、非常にお得なランチなのではないでしょうか。
