小伝馬町駅3番出口から徒歩3分程度の場所にある大人気のベトナム料理店。ホットペッパーグルメのポイントが3000ポイントもあったことから、これは使わない手はないということで、週末金曜日の会社帰りに大酒飲みの同僚と新規開拓をすることに。いつもドリンクの安さを基準にお店を選んでいることから、今回はちゃんと料理が美味しいお店にしようということで、料理のジャンルが私の守備範囲外ではあるが、ベトナム料理の当店をネットで事前予約。当日、お店の前に着いたのは、予約時間の18時ちょっと前。地下1階にある店内に入ってみると、そこはベトナムの屋台のような雰囲気。先客はまだ一人もおらず、店員さんに2名で予約している旨を伝えると、我々は直ぐに店内中央にある4人用のテーブル席に案内された。
本日予約したのは、「7品食べ放題＆飲み放題！3500円コース」で、コース内容については、生春巻き、揚げ春巻き、サラダ（クラゲ・レンコン・胃袋から選択）、炒め（鶏肉レモングラス・砂肝もやし・鶏肉シャガイモ甘辛ソースから選択）、コーンバター揚げ、フォー（牛・鶏から選択）、デザート（タロイモアイス・ココナッツミルクアイスから選択）といった構成。まずは好きな飲み物で乾杯して、コース料理が出て来るのを楽しみに待つ。
トップバッターは、ベトナム料理の定番である生春巻き。野菜・海老のほか、春雨がたっぷり入っており、生春巻きの皮がモッチリ食感で旨い。揚げ春巻きは、甘酸っぱいタレに付けて食べるのだが、生春巻きとは全く違う食感なのが面白い。鶏肉レモングラスは、清涼感のある炒め物だが、ご飯にもきっと合うだろう。クラゲのサラダは、クラゲのコリコリした食感が楽しめる。コーンバター揚げは、箸休めにちょうど良い一品。卓上のチリソースをかけると、味がピリッと引き締まって旨さ倍増。牛のフォーは、出て来た瞬間、その器の大きさにビックリ。この量は完全に2人前だろう。でも、味の方はアッサリしていて本当に美味しい。デザートのタロイモアイスとココナッツミルクアイスはシェアして食べたが、もうお腹一杯でこれ以上食べられません状態。週末金曜日ということもあるが、19時頃からはずっと満席状態だったので、興味を持った方は予約した上で訪問することお勧めする。
