そういえば、このところパスタ・スパゲティにはずいぶんご無沙汰しているなと思う今日この頃
名古屋で単身生活をしていた頃は、あんかけスパゲティだの、鉄板ナポリタンだのといった名古屋めしの外食は別としても、レトルトのパスタソースの味見がてら、単身宅で、最盛期には週1ペースでスパゲティを食べていたんですがね
というわけで、たまにはスパゲティでもとお昼にやって来たのは、先日いつの間にか新規オープンしているのに気がついた「プチバトー」というお店です
こちら「プチバトー」は、“酒場ダイナー”なんぞと名乗っていますが、お店の前にあるランチメニューを見れば、パスタ・スパゲティをメインに扱っている様子
ちなみに、お店があるのは、昨年名古屋から帰ってきて間もない頃に一度入ったけれど、コロナ禍の混乱もあるなか、その後消息不明になっていた「くわんか」というお店の跡地で、その「くわんか」も、私が勝手に“ハシヤ流”と呼んでいる和風路線のスパゲティをいただけるお店だったな

お店のある地下に下りて入ってみれば、既視感があるんだかないんだかよくわかりかねる店内
この期に及んで間違い探しをする気はないけれど、明らかに異なっているのは、「くわんか」の頃には店内中央にあったサラダコーナーが見当たらないことですかね
案内されたカウンター席に着き、メニューを検めてみれば、トマトソース嫌いでカルボナーラ好きの私ゆえ、選択肢はおのずと絞られてきますが、季節の秋メニューに「生ウニと麦イカの和風クリーム(1,180円)」なんていうものがあるのだと知れば、ついついそちらが気になるわけで、無料サービスという大盛りでそれをオーダーすることにしました
まず配されたのは、豆の入ったコールスローサラダとトマトのポタージュ
コールスローというと、キャベツの千切りにドレッシングをかけただけのぞんざいなものが出てくることも少なくないなか、豆入りとはありがたみのある工夫だけれど、トマトのポタージュというのは、さすがに私にはちょっとねぇ…
続いてパンが供されましたが、これはスパゲティの残りソース用に温存しておいた方がよさそうだな
正面を見れば、酒のボトルが並んでいるけれど、ジンやウォッカ、ラムなどのスピリッツ類はひと通り揃えているとして、ウイスキーはバーボンオンリーの偏った品揃え
もっとも、こちら、コロナ禁酒期間中にオープンしたゆえ、まだ酒類の提供は始めていないはずだから、これは実戦配備ではなく、今はとりあえずあるものを飾りとして並べているだけ、ということなのかもしれませんがね
さて、ややあってやってきた「生ウニと麦イカの和風クリーム」は、見たところ、大盛りにしておいてちょうどよかったなという分量
いただいてみれば、磯の香りがするような醤油味は、まさに私が大好きな“ハシヤ流”の和風スパゲティで美味いな
なるほど
こういう味がいただけるのなら、今日は和風のスパゲティという気分の時にはまたこちらに来るとしましょう
