これまであまり行って来なかった町焼肉に焦点を当ててみようと何となく思い、在宅勤務の昼に訪問。
開店時間からは少し経っていたが、お客さんは先客が1組だけ。その後、食べているうちに入って来たけど、埋まることはなく。恐らく原因は単価の高さだろうなとすぐに思い当たるのが、メニュー全般に「ややお高い」こと。
980円で食べられるものも無いこともないけれど、こういう店でケチるとロクな目に合わないので〈伊達の焼肉定食〉2,480円で勝負。ホルモンは辛味噌。
タンをはじめ、カルビやらハラミやらと賑やか。タンを皮切りに焼いていくのだが、やや失敗したのは、ホルモンを最後の手前に焼いたこと。味噌が焦げついてしまってその後に残した肉に焼き目をつけにくくしてしまった。
とはいえ、全般的にはおいしかった、という印象を抱いたのだが、〈熟成大トロ牛たん〉と仰々しく売り出されている牛タンが突出。これなら牛タンだけでもよかったな、とか。牛タンは輸入なんだろうけど、微妙なクオリティの和牛を上回ることはあるだろうからね。
総じて安価に、他所の地域では信じられないクオリティのランチを出す店がぼこぼこ存在する人形町で、どうも焼肉においてもその傾向は同じらしい、なんてことを思うに、価格面についてはもう少し踏ん張りがほしい。（ビジネスとしての採算はこれでもそんなによくはないと思うけど）
牛タンを食べたくなったらまた使うかも。
