東京メトロ水天宮前駅1b出口より歩く事数分、TCAT近くのビル1Fにあるお店
「Suphab Thai Modern Cafe/スパーブ タイモダンカフェ」。
11月上旬のお昼時に初めて訪れました。
こちら以前は八丁堀にあった同名店が9月にこちらに移転オープンしたそうです。
八丁堀の店舗同様お洒落な店内はカウンター席とテーブル席が全21席の広さ。
私は相席の6人掛けテーブル席へと案内されました。
お店はタイ人の男女3人で切り盛りされておりました。
卓上のメニューを拝見。
食事メニューはタイ風カレー、一皿飯、ヌードル、サンドイッチなどがあり、
この日は
「ゲーンソム焼きうどんスリラチャーソース炒め」(1280円)
を注文しました。
セルフのおしぼり、冷水など取りに行って席で待つ事しばし、料理が上がりました。
「ゲーンソム」とはタイ南部の郷土料理で”酸っぱいカレー"の事です。
また、「スリラチャソース」とはタイチョンブリ県Si Racha(シラチャー)のレストランで
使用され有名になったいわゆる”シラチャーソース”の事ですね。
「ゲーンソム焼きうどんスリラチャーソース炒め」の麺は極太麺。
具には豚肉、玉葱、ネギ、味付け海苔２枚など。
早速いただいてみました♪
うん、確かに酸っぱ辛いです！ (>_<)ｳﾋｨｰ
結構強めな辛さなので辛いお味が苦手な方には少し刺激が強いかもです。
辛さに強い自分的には食が進む程良いスパイシーさですね。
麺はモチモチでパッタイなどとはまた違った食感が楽しいですね (^^♪
ソースが辛い分、豚肉の甘みが感じられ美味しいです。
味付け海苔が何故か２枚だけチョコンと添えられているのは何かしら
お店の考えがあるものと思いますが、辛さ和らげ用？うどんを巻いて味変？
いずれにしても2枚は自分的には中途半端な気もしました (^-^;
程なく完食しました。
