It seems to mean "Ojattamonse". Miyakonojo City is now part of Miyazaki Prefecture, but it used to be part of the Satsuma area, and it's a Satsuma dialect. The waiter kindly explained it to me. Then, I slipped my shoes on and headed to the tatami room. The inside of the restaurant, including the counter, is barefoot style. It's muggy, but the smoke from the charcoal-grilled local chicken and the purple smoke are all there. It's a great place to have a smoking room. I had a sashimi platter and charcoal-grilled local chicken, and the food was delicious, including the appetizer! I expected it to be local chicken, but the sashimi was really fresh and delicious. They also have a wide selection of potato shochu. It comes in a lovely glass that looks like Satsuma Kiriko. Shibuya was overflowing with people that day, and I was turned down at three places before I finally found this restaurant, so I was super lucky. It was a business dinner, so there are not many photos. I'll definitely go back to this restaurant. Thank you for the meal~
