続々客が店に入っていく。12時半だと数人並ぶくらいの人気がある。外国人客も多い。あるサラリーマンは「おお、もう『冷やしかつ丼』が始まってる！」と歓喜の声を上げていた。そう、このメニューはこれまで23万食も出ている人気メニュー。この日は暑かったのでちょっと誘惑に負けそうだった。
しかし海老好きの僕と友人2人は最初から新鮮な有頭海老を使った「天然特大海老フライ定食 2本(税込5,200円)」狙い。ご飯は白米か青紫蘇ご飯のどちらかからチョイス。お代わり自由。
あとはお新香と味噌汁が付く。
キャベツの千切りがてんこ盛りで運ばれてくる。
胡麻ドレッシングと柚子ドレッシングが卓上に用意されているので柚子ドレッシングをかけていただく。むしゃむしゃ…サラダを食べて待つこと15分。
低音でじっくり揚げるからか、はたまた海老が大きいから揚げるのに時間がかかるのか、結構待つことに…。お喋りしてたから問題ないけど…。
来た来た、25分待ってごん太っい海老登場。何海老だろ？衣もそれなりに厚いけど、まあオッケー。
添えられたタルタルソースをつけたり、カラシととんかつソースで食べてみて、どっちが美味しいか試しつついただく。結果両方つける方が美味しいな。まあ海老自体は割と大味。これだけ大きいと仕方ないかな。
青紫蘇ご飯も美味しいし、味噌汁もたっぷりあって、なめこが入っていて美味。
