●JR Yamanote Line: Exit the south ticket gate of Shibuya Station, East Exit, 8 minutes walk in the direction of Shibuya Police Station. Exit the station, go up the footbridge in front of you, cross towards Shibuya Police Station, and proceed along Roppongi Street (Route 412) towards Roppongi. Pass Family Mart and Bosch Cafe, and go straight. Turn right at the Shibuya 3-chome traffic light, and you will see the Ramen Nagi sign right away. ●Tokyu Toyoko Line, Denentoshi Line, Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line, Fukutoshin Line "Shibuya Station" 8 minutes walk from Exit 15 Hikarie 1st floor (The 2nd floor connecting passage to Hikarie is the same route from "Shibuya Station" on the JR Line, Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, and Keio Inokashira Line) Exit Hikarie 1st floor, and turn left. Go up the footbridge in front of the intersection, cross towards Shibuya Police Station, and proceed along Roppongi Street (Route 412) towards Roppongi. 金曜夜。渋谷のラーメンは西口に多いが今回は東口の六本木通り近辺。評価は高いが、海外で人気の店の逆輸入ということなので、期待を抑えつつ行ってみた。
テーブルとカウンターで完全に店は分かれている。空いているカウンターに。テーブル席には海外の人が多い。メニューには赤玉、黒玉だけでなく、バジルソースの緑玉なんてのもある。いやな予感的中か。
チャーシュー麺 1,000円。全部「普通」で。
意外とオーソドックス。旨味は強く脂もほどほどでバランスよし。味覚を邪魔するものがない。ところが辛味噌を混ぜた途端、ノイズが増えてせっかくの旨味を感じづらくなった。次回からは注文で外そう。
麺は伝統的な硬めの細麺。「普通」で少し硬く感じたので替麺で「やわい」を頼んだら丁度良かった。替玉からは強い小麦の香りがしてきて何ともいい。
チャーシューはよくある「トロトロ」ではなく肉厚のシンプルなチャーシュー。赤身がボロっとこぼれる食感がいい。やはりオーソドックス。
麺は「やわい」で辛味噌「なし」かな。海外客来た時にカジュアル接待で連れてきてもいい。その時にはバジルとか試してみようかな。
店員は雑談多めで来客に気付かないケースも。
