少し歩けば「The 円山町」というキワっキワな立地
の居酒屋。かなり細い路地を入ったところにあり、
その建物が何というか…スナックが入っているのが
自然に思えるくらいの場末感。
このあたりで感じたことは、のちの大きな感動への
「フリ」となっていたんだなと、今になって気づく。
店内はカウンターとテーブルを合わせて15〜20席
くらいでしょうか。小じんまりとしています。頭に
バンダナを巻いた、パッと見ファンキーなご主人と
お母さんで切り盛り。お二人ともすごくやさしい。
メニューは、裏メニューがなければカウンターの上
に木札でかけられているもので全てかと思います。
お母さんが喋っているうちにどんどんオーダーを
決めてくれるので、その流れに甘えました。
カレー味の煮込み
字面ほどガッツリとカレーの味がするわけではなく、
基本的な煮込みの味がベース。カレーのスパイシー
な部分が、全体をスッキリ爽やかに感じさせます。
千羽焼
店名を冠した看板メニュー。3種類の野菜のクイズは
お約束のようですね。お手つきしましたが、何とか
正解しました。野菜の風味が効いた、おいしいつくね。
千羽タレ焼 若どり／ホホ肉
キュッと甘辛さもあり、キレのよさもあるこのタレ、
本当においしいです。若どりよりもホホ肉の方が
タレがよく絡みます。
お酒は最低限のところを押さえている感じでいろんな
ものが飲めるわけではないけど、この料理を迎え撃つ
メンツとしては充分かと。
とてもいい店です。
