数年前、道玄坂で勤務していた頃、一度伺ったことがありました。当時は勝負の連勤続きで、風邪気味、精力をつけようと同期と。
路地を一本も入らない道玄坂途中で、あっけにとられます。渋谷や新宿などで見られる様々な業態が密集していて、急にある老舗感。店内は1階喫煙と地下1階禁煙。その日は地下、広々としています。
お通し、選べる瓶ビール、おしんこ、カツオ刺身、とうがん煮、茄子田楽、鰻重(小)など
うなぎはオーダーより40.50分かかるということで、お酒、おつまみ、うなぎ、という流れで。
肴は総じて家庭的な味付けでほっとします。茄子田楽がおすすめですかね。
うなぎは蒸し強めのふわふわ鰻です。タレも主張せず、焼きも控えめで当時「引っ込み思案なうなぎだな」と感じたままでしたので、守り抜いてきたのだと思います。強めが分かりやすいのでしょうが、渋谷の真ん中でほっと一息、穏やかにさせてくれる鰻です。空腹でうなぎ欲が高揚しすぎている時よりも、今日ちょいと、うなぎかなでマッチしてくるかと。
皆さん嫌味なく終始にこにこ対応されており、気持ちよく食事が出来ました。
