It's been a while since Shibuya Marui became Shibuya Modi, but this might be the first time I've been inside. I stopped in for a quick break. This is a cafe with a slightly stand-like design that offers Japanese-style drinks and Sweets. I haven't been drinking much coffee lately, so I'm drawn to Japanese-style drinks. This time I had a cold green tea with a golden olive scent for 432 yen and Baumkuchen with mochi for 302 yen. Maybe it's because the green tea is iced, but I wish it had a bit more of a scent. Maybe it would have been better if it was hot. I like the scent of golden olive. Baumkuchen with mochi is a recommended item at this shop, and it was delicious! The soft texture of the mochi is hidden by the layers of Baumkuchen, which is nice. It's a great idea. There is a bookstore nearby, so it would be nice to spend time reading a book you bought. The prices are reasonable, so it might be a hidden gem.
