なかなか行く勇気が出なかったお店。
お肉9種類のコースの予約でしたが、当日同価格で15種類にアレンジしていただきました。
まずは先付、スズメの丸焼。正直これが一番抵抗ありました。食べてみるとチキンでしかないのですが、頭が付いているというのがなんとも……笑
お肉はほとんどが初見。美味しいものやや食べやすいもの若干食べにくいもの様々です。
一枚目のプレートはダチョウ・イノシシ・シカ・ラクダ・カンガルー・ウサギ・カモ。猪鹿兎鴨あたりは食べたことありましたが、結局このあたりを目にする機会があるのはそういうことだなと。猪肉は普段食べる豚肉より好きでした。意外だったのはダチョウ、鶏肉感なし。めっちゃ赤身の肉。
二枚目はマンボウ・トド・ワニ・カエル。カエルは元々食用のウシガエルでしょうか、普通に美味しい。トド肉が今まで見た肉の中で一番黒くて驚き。
三枚目はキョン・ヌートリア・アナグマ・アライグマ。急に動物の同定が難しくなる。キョンが鶏肉のような食感でクセもなく美味しい。千葉で害獣問題になってた気もするので積極的に食べていきたいところ。ヌートリアは、ネズミを初めて食べましたが、シャキシャキ。アナグマアライグマともムワッとした臭いが苦手でした。好きな人は好きかも。
〆はナマズの天ぷら蕎麦。圧倒的にウマい。身がフワフワ、霞ヶ浦でキャッチアンドリリースしてる場合じゃない。
お腹いっぱい食べるようなお店ではないですが、知らないお肉やゲテモノをワイワイ楽しむことができるのでエンタメとしては最適。食べてみたい肉などがあれば事前に連絡しておくと手配できることもあるかも……？とのこと。次は何を食べてみようかな。
