Today's review is Okonomiyaki Pon Poko. I heard from a friend that a shop with a cute name had opened in Ura-Shibu, so I went there. The nearest station near NHK is Yoyogi Koen Station, but it is also easily accessible from Shibuya for walking and shopping. 1 It was a roadside store with a large noren curtain, so I was able to find it easily. As soon as you enter, there is a large iron plate and a friendly atmosphere typical of an Okonomiyaki restaurant. 2 There are about 20 seats inside, mainly at the counter. I made a reservation, but the counter was already occupied and I was seated at a table in the back. It feels like there are a few people here and there who look like relatives or regulars. 3 Order the recommended Okonomiyaki. Okonomiyaki was falling apart and had no sense of unity, but when I asked the staff, they told me that the flour was different. It seems like it's a commitment. There wasn't much on the menu, and I wanted to try oden, but I was told that they don't serve lunch. A customer who seemed to be an acquaintance of the owner next door was also shocked that the store was out of stock, as his child had been looking forward to the oden. It's on the menu, but they seem to prepare it in the evening. The amount of Okonomiyaki was modest, so I felt like one more item was missing. 4 There are two staff members: the master and the customer service. There is no particular explanation, so I wish they would write about out of stock on the menu. Next time I'll come to Oden's Revenge at night. Thank you for the meal.
