What is Rokkakutei? Our theme is to take a new look at the genre of Fried Skewers, and at the same time enjoy seasonal cuisine that respects Japanese techniques. Directions From Daikanyama Station Exit the Daikanyama Station ticket gate and turn right with Pancakes Flippers in front of you. Turn left at Mermaid Cafe. At the end of Old Yamate Street, just down the gentle slope, you will see the lanterns of Rokkakutei hanging on the right, so please feel free to step through the curtain. Directions From Nakameguro Station Exit the front ticket gate, cross the crosswalk, and turn right with Tsutaya Bookstore in front of you. Immediately turn left at the next corner, cross the Meguro River, and continue up the gentle slope along the railroad tracks until you see the sign for the Yarigasaki intersection, so cross the road at the crosswalk. 同僚たちとの飲みでこちらへ。
創作串揚げを楽しみに訪問。
この日いただいたのは、おまかせ串揚げ。
1人6本から、ストップと言うまで一律220円で串揚げをいただけるお得なコース。
この日の串揚げは以下の通り。
オクラチーズ、沢がに、穴子、アスパラガス、豚ヒレと長ねぎ 、ヤングコーン、つぶ貝ガーリック、トマト、ブロッコリー、鶏白レバー。
どれも美味しくて幸せ。
全部で20種類以上あるようだが、そんなにたくさん食べられないのでアラカルトでも良いかもと思ったり。
もっと串揚げも食べたかったが、この日イチオシでおすすめされたのが、本日の鮮魚 盛り合わせ。
本まぐろ、にゅるっと歯ごたえのある生だこ、脂のりのりの梅雨いわし、さっぱり味わいのあるハモ湯引きはどれも美味。
さらにこの日のおすすめということで鮎の塩焼きを。
塩気が強かったが、ホクホク骨も気にならず美味しい。
シメにはとうもろこしと生うにの土鍋ごはんを。
あらかじめ注文しておいて、シメのタイミングで提供していただくようお願いした。
とうもろこしの甘みとうにの香ばしさが活きる最高のシメ。
赤だしもすすめられるがままにいただいた。
ほっこり。
デザートは自家製抹茶ブリュレを。
ほど良く甘くてなめらか。
日本酒は季節のお酒を含めて10種類はあったかな。
味の系統によって分けてメニューが書かれており、甘口から辛口までバランスの良いラインナップ。
あれもこれもと料理をすすめてくるので、提案してもらいたい人には良いかも、そうでなければ頼みたいものを注文した方が良いかも知れない。
素材の良さが活きた創作串揚げに満足した。
