シャレオツ街・恵比寿でひときわ渋い居酒屋がこちら。
焼き鳥のお店。ご夫婦で営まれていて、カウンター席のみの店だ。
開店とともにオジサンたちが椅子に腰掛け、焼き鳥で飲んでいる。
焼きもので注意なのは、一度しか注文できないこと。
美味しくて、後から「もっと頼めばよかった」とならないように。
（いくら頼んでも、後悔することは避けられないが…）
レバーやハツをはじめ、どれも食べやすくて美味しいが、
名物の「まくら」は驚くべきうまさで酒が進む。
ひき肉の塊をニラで巻いたこの串は、ニンニクがよく効いていて、たれの絡みが抜群にいい。
病みつきになる美味しさ。こちらは絶対に食べて欲しい。
一緒に注文したおでんは、優しい出汁の効いたものだった。
注文を聞いてくれる奥さんは気さくで、女2人で入った私たちを歓迎してくれて嬉しかった。
そして焼き場にどんと構える旦那さんの凛々しいこと。
顔つきが良く、昔は（今も）とてもハンサムだったろうなと推察した。
恵比寿の煌びやかなバルよりも、こんな居酒屋がいいな、と思った。
