恵比寿駅東口の歩くエスカレーター“恵比寿スカイウォーク”を抜けて、アメリカ橋を渡ったところにあるピンクの建物。この飲食店がいくつか入る建物の2階にあるインドカレー店『ローカルインディア 恵比寿本店』。ドラマ『きのう何食べた？』を観てたらインドカレーとナンが食べたくなり訪問。
店内はリゾートチックな雰囲気で、ガーデンプレイスを臨む窓際の席が特等席か。土日祝限定のホリデーランチは、ナンとライスがおかわり無料。「ターリーランチ」を注文。
8〜9分で到着。「ターリーランチ」は、グランドメニューの18種類のカレーから2種類選べられ、タンドリーチキンとサラダ、ターメリックライスとナンが付く。今回は、プロンマサラとチキンティッカの2種類を選択。玉ねぎの甘みにしっかりとスパイシーなプロンマサラが好み。トマトベースのチキンティッカも酸味と辛味のバランスがよく食べやすい。どちらも粘度が高く、ナンとよく絡む。バターの風味がほどよいナンも食べやすい。
